The 2009 US PGA National Championship will be 42nd event in the tournament’s history and will be held at the Twin Warriors Golf Club and at Santa Ana Golf Club from 28 June to 1 July. The first two rounds will be held at Santa Ana and the last two rounds will be held at Twin Warriors.

The PGA Professional National Championship is contested in late June every year. In 2007 the US PGA National Championship was won by the aptly named Chip Sullivan, who posted a tidy overall score of 282 at the Sunriver Resort in Sunriver, Oregon, to take top honors in the tournament.
